| Description | |
| Abstract | The EPIGRAM project concerns the dynamics of French marginal and coastal regions in the Atlantic region (Bay of Biscay and Manche). The coastal region has recently remobilized scientific research in ocean dynamics, through the development of coastal operational oceanography and the need for real-time monitoring of this region for economic, public health or military reasons. One of the main scientific delays is associated with observations at sea: there are no "major" sea campaigns in this region and most scientific data was obtained 15 years ago or more. EPIGRAM is based on the implementation of a large-scale observation program, which focuses on observing the major processes in this area. |
