| Description | |
| Abstract | The MOOSE network is an integrate and multi-disciplinary observing system focuses on the long-term evolution of the NW Mediterranean Sea (over 10 years) in the context of the climate change and anthropogenic pressure. MOOSE aims to respond to the scientific ('Chantier Méditerranée') and operational oceanography issues (Mercator, SNOCO, ') in order to detect and identify long-term environmental trends and anomalies of the marine ecosystem. MOOSE integrates eulerian observatories (moorings, buoys) and autonomous mobile platforms (gliders, floats) delivering a large amount of near real-time and delayed mode data in physics, biogeochemistry and biology. |
