| Abstract |
The subject of this project was a complexed study of the ecosystems of the coastal sea of Montenegro, with an emphasis on monitoring, protection and rational exploitation of marine resources and potential. The project included a fundamental research of water, sediment and biota of the coastal part of the sea of Montenegro, and in a broader sense, the territory of South Adriatic.
The project was divided into three parts or work packages with specific tasks within them, which complement one another:

- chemical and biochemical indicators of marine pollution
- marine biodiversity and bioactivity of marine organisms
