| Abstract | It is based on the performance of acoustic evaluation campaigns in the Mediterranean Sea, jointly, by the Mediterranean countries belonging to the European Union (Greece, Italy, France, Slovenia, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria and Spain), centered mainly in the study of the most important small pelagic species in the area.
