| Abstract | The main objective of the program is to present the situation in the fishing sector and the trends in the development of this sector in Romania. The results of the program will contribute to the implementation of strategic objectives for the development of sectoral policies in accordance with Romania's National Strategy in the Fisheries Sector and the implementation of the new EU Common Fisheries Policy.
The expected results can be summarized as follows:
SECTION 1: STUDIES PILOT DESCRIPTION
Study pilot 1: The level of fishing and the impact of beam trawl fishing on by-catches of vulnerable species
Study pilot 2: Environmental data on aquaculture;
SECTION 2: BIOLOGICAL DATA
Data collection for diadromous species in freshwater;
Data recreational fisheries;
Sampling plan description for biological data;
Research surveys at sea;
Fishing activity variables data collection strategy (for inland eel commercial fisheries);
SECTION 3: IMPACT OF FISHERIES ON MARINE BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES
Incidental catches of sensitive species;
Fisheries impact on marine habitats;
SECTION 5: ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DATA IN FISHERIES
Economic and social variables for fisheries data collection;
SECTION 6: ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DATA IN AQUACULTURE
Economic and social variables for aquaculture data collection;
