| Abstract | EMODnet Chemistry aims at collecting, validating, and providing access by a dedicated portal to marine chemistry data, and generating and publishing marine chemistry data products, relevant for the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) and its stakeholders at national, regional and European levels. This concerns metadata, data and data products relevant for eutrophication, ocean acidification, pollution and marine litter.
Since January 2023, the EMODnet Chemistry portal has been integrated into the EMODnet Central Portal, which functions as one-stop-shopping window for all EMODnet thematics. The services of the Central Portal are driven by standard machine-to-machine service as developed and managed by each of the thematic groups.
