| Abstract | INTERREG II - NETWORK OF MANAGEMENT OF SOUTH ADRIATIC AND IONIAN WATERS AND PROTECTION OF SEA ENVIRONMENT The aim of the project is the establishment, through the collaboration of Greek and Italian scientists, of a network and a mechanism of continuous surveillance of the marine ecosystem of the south Adriatic and Ionian Sea, aiming at their sound management. This project also aims at the development of the province with decentralization of pertinence, transfer of technology and know-how, support of local elements for the problem confrontation of environmental management and increase of fish production with rational use of the stock of red prawn. |
