| Abstract | The main objectives of the EUROMARGE-AS project is to assess the seasonal and interannual variability of biogeochemical exchanges between river outfalls, the western continental margin and the mid and southern basin of the Adriatic Sea.Water samples for chemical, biological, microbiological, biogeochemical and trace metals analyses were collected in three main sites in the NW Adriatic shelf and Po River, mid- and southern Adriatic basin during six cruises in the period from August 1993 to April 1995. Two sediment traps and two current meters were deployed in the south Adriatic pit. |
